Bj Rollison is a Test Architect with Microsoft’s Engineering Excellence group where he de-signs and develops technical training curriculum in testing methodologies and test automation. With more than 16 years of experience in the computer industry, Bj started his professional career at a small OEM company in Japan building custom solutions for small and medium sized businesses. In 1994 he joined the Windows 95 project focusing on the internationalization of the operating system. In 1996, Bj became a test manager in the Internet Client and Consumer Division responsible for shipping several client products and a web server. He moved to Microsoft's Internal Technical Training group in 1999 as the Director of Test Training planning and organizing training for more than 6000 Microsoft testers. Bj also teaches software testing courses at the University of Washington, sits on the advisory boards at the University of Washington and Lake Washington Technical College, and frequently presents at international software conferences.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ina Schieferdecker studied Mathematical Computer Science at Humboldt-University Berlin and did her PhD in 1994 at Technical University Berlin on Performance-Enhanced System Specifications. She is heading the Competence Center Modelling and Testing at Fraunhofer FOKUS. She is Professor on Engineering and Testing of Communication-Based Systems at TU Berlin since 2003. She is an active member in the standardization of TTCN-3 by ETSI and of the UML Testing Profile by OMG. She is co-founder of the Testing Technologies IST GmbH, Berlin and member of the German Testing Board. She received in 2004 the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Award for Young Professors and in 2005 the ITEA Achievement Award.
