The International Software Quality Institute (iSQI GmbH), headquartered in Erlangen and Potsdam (Germany), develops internationally accepted certification standards for advanced vocational training in the area of software quality. With more than 4000 exams every year, iSQI is the most important personnel certifier in the area of software quality. iSQI organizes the international “Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology” (CONQUEST). CONQUEST 2009 will be held in the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg from 16-18 September 2009. Nuremberg is one of Europe's fastest growing trade fair locations as well as one of the top ten high-tech regions in Germany. This year, CONQUEST will focus on “Software Quality Engineering”, running from Quality Assurance, Processes, Secure and Safe Software-Based Systems, Requirements Engineering, Testing, Metrics to Project Management.
The South East European Testing Board – SEETB was founded in 2005. As part of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), SEETB develops the national syllabus and examination questions based on the international syllabus and exam questions. At the moment, the board consists of 7 members, who are either experts in IT, specialized in the field of Software Testing and Quality Management, or have been working in international IT standardization. All members work non-profit on voluntary basis in the board. President of the board is Mitko Mitev.
